Crowne Plaza Moscow World Trade Center

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 15, 2014

The Crowne Plaza Moscow World Trade Centre hotel is situated on the Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, close to Russian Government. It can be easily reached from the 3rd Ring Road or Noviy Arbat street.
If you are from downtown ,when arriving Russian government intersection. Turn right to Krasnopresnenskaya embankment ,it's about1 km from there. The Hotel is on the right hand side.
.The distance from DME airport is about 45km,if come by taxi it'll be around 2,500 rub ( 60-70 us dollars) ,takes about 60-100 minutes. If by train is faster 40-50 min and cost about 350 rub (10 $)
The hotel is part of the World Trade Centre complex, in the heart of one of the city's busiest commercial and administrative regions. I think it's on a very good location..overlooking Moskva river. The room on higher floors and can have spectacular views over central Moscow, including the Ukraina Hotel, one of the citys seven awesome Stalinist neo-gothic skyscrapers, on the opposite bank.
The hotel used to be known until recently as the Mezhdunarodnaya-1.It has long been one of the city's top business hotels. Now part of the internationally renowned Crowne Plaza chain.
The price per room in king size bed or 2 single beds is about 180 euro.,with free wifi. My room is very beautiful...it's kind of U- shaped which has bathroom in the U area..I'll show show you in the picture. This room has long window almost the total lenght of the room but from this room it's not river view ..I used to stayed in room with river view as well..next time I'll show you picture.

One of the most expensive hotels in Moscow

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 22, 2006

This is a very expensive hotel where I have only had breakfast during one week, but did not sleep, although saw the rooms and the prices.
Anyway, you just can go inside, the porters will allow you (in Soviet times the Russians could not get inside, only if they were customers). The drinks are not expensive, and the newspapers in english, such as, Moscow Times, are for free. You can also read other newspapers imported from Europe or America for free.
Another advantage to visit this hotel is to go to the toilet, a real problem in Moscow downtown.

Unique Quality: as above
