This is a very expensive hotel where I have only had breakfast during one week, but did not sleep, although saw the rooms and the prices.
Anyway, you just can go inside, the porters will allow you (in Soviet times the Russians could not get inside, only if they were customers). The drinks are not expensive, and the newspapers in english, such as, Moscow Times, are for free. You can also read other newspapers imported from Europe or America for free.
Another advantage to visit this hotel is to go to the toilet, a real problem in Moscow downtown.
