 | Swissotel Krasnye Holmy: BRAND SPANKING NEW

The Swissotel Krasnye Holmy is brand spanking new as it just opened July 2005. It is the newest addition to Moscow's 5 star hotels and is the tallest hotel in Moscow at 34 floors high. Highly reccommended if you are staying in Moscow for business as all the rooms are set-up with WI FI connectivity. There is also an executive club level for private breakfasts and small meetings. I had dinner at Concerto Restaurant which was an upscale Italian restaurant and enjoyed it; the food is pricey, but the service was excellent. The Sky Bar on the 34th floor is a must as they have 360 degree views of Moscow, which at night is quite lovely. The Concierge is a little green, but I'm sure with time the service will improve. Regular cab service was about 500 rubles to the Kremlin / Red Square.
My room had: a large flat screen TV, heated bathroom floors, a towel warming rack, a large soaking tub, seperate shower, electronic "do not disturb" and "make-up my room" signs, and a master control panel for all room functions. All the bells and whistles you would expect in a new state-of-the-art hotel. There is a large fitness center, deep pool, whirlpool and sauna for all the gym rats. Spa treatments including facials, body scrubs and massages are available at Amrita Spa.
