Yellow Blue Bus (Now called Iris)

Good little place is you can find it!
If you book via hostelbookings or if you email them, make sure you read the instructions, you will never find it otherwise and will end up having an angry taxi driver dropping you in the street! (talking from experience!)
Its literally someones flat converted into a hostel - well, not really converted, its just got bunkbeds in the rooms.
It has a kitchen, free internet, shower and 6/7 rooms ranging from 2 bed to 8 bed.
It costs about $25 per night.
Its clean enough but the best bit if the location, about 20min walk from the Kremlin, but close to Mayakovskaya metro stop-just a 2 minute walk away.
Its very close to the american bar and grill and just of Tverskaya, the main street in Moscow. The location could hardly be better (about 15min walk to Red Square)

i have now stayed here 6 times and more recently in a double room, which is located in a seperate apartment block across the street - its fantastic as you share a whole very large apartment with just 2 other double rooms and it has a lounge, tv and huge bathroom. its 2500 rubles.
In late 2010, the hostel changed its name to Iris.
