Kronshtadt Hotel: Quiet remote Kronshtadt Hotel.
A hotel out along the highway jetty. If any tour company tries to get you to stay there be wary. It is about 2 hours by bus and train to get to the center of St. Petersburg.
But if you are looking for a lonely place looking across the Finland Gulf it might fit the bill.
Very isolated, a good place to write wistful poetry.
Sit by the cannon all day.
Dream about the naval battles between the Russians and the Fins and Swedes.
And appreciate the company of your firends who are not there. :)
