This Four-star Hotel opened in 2005 renovated from an 19th-century building on Rimsky-Korsakov Street. It's near Sennaya Ploschad and the Yusupov Garden on a way to St.Isaac Square and it is popular for tour groups.
It is a good value for those who prefer not to be on the busy Nevsky Prospect. One of the best accommodations for classical music and ballet lovers, near the Mariinsky theater and not too far from the Alexandrovsky Theater on Nevsky. It is probably a 30-minute walk to Palace Square and the Hermitage.
It has 255 rooms, a little quieter location than Nevsky Prospect (15 minute walk), yet close to Metro, buses, and Mariinsky Theater 10 minutes walk.
Unique Quality: The top floor, the 9th floor, Le Vernissage restaurant has a very good view over the city towards St. Isaac Cathedral. Most buildings in St. Petersburg are 4-5 stories, the structural limit for the old brick and beam type of buildings.
