Central hotel
I like to stay at Ibis Hotels if i am near one because they have a good standard. The Ibis in St Petersburg is just as good. The bed was comfy, room en suite, tv , phone all you need. I had booked and paid online. When i arrived i was made very welcome by english speaking receptionist , who did the Russian registration for me.. The hotel has a good bar. Breakfast is buffet style with loads to chose from. The restaurant serves good food. I had 4 evening meals in the hotel, one was Beef Stroganof ,mash potatoe , bread, small beer cost 485 RUR. A pint of russian beer in the hotel bar costs 170 RUR.. The hotel has secrity men. There are cash machines in the hotel, which i found helpful because i dont like drawing money out in street machines in a city strange to me.Internet fitting in room, Climate controlled room. Hair dryer in bathroom. Also there is at the hotel a enclosed parking place for 19 cars. Would recommend this hotel.
