Looking at the Moscow Hotel anyone been there?
We are going to St. Petersburg on July 4. Hotels are expensive! Rooms at Moscow hotel seem to have good rate but am worried. First time in city and on foot. Is the location okay? Do I really need to look at better hotel?

I agree with Lev_Nicolaevich that mini-hotel would be better and cheaper then Moscow Hotel

My friends from UK last year stayed at Baskov mini hotel - very good location and price was about 70 euros.

The Moskva Hotel has an upgraded section, and the rooms & bathrooms & room amenities there are fine. The restaurant isn't great for anything other than breakfast, which is good. I've stayed there many times between 1979 & 2005 and my just be used to it!
