I chose the place where to stay and I decided to stay in Vasilievsky Iseland. I chose Rinaldi guesthouse. It is situated on Malyi Prospekt, not far from the metro station (5-7 minutes by walk). It is no far from Neva (1-2 minutes by walk) as well as from Dvorzovy Most and Petropavlovskaya Fortress (10-12 minutes by walk). The guest house is a former many-rooms appartment, good renovated in any way. The price was RUR 1500 per night, breakfast included (EUR 44). The only strange thing for me was that the reception women asked me about everything, why I came, what I am about to do in the city and so on. It happened every day, in breakfast, when I came after walking and so on. I understand of course that it is boring to sit in the reception but why me? :-) strange in my opinion.

There are several guesthouses of Rinaldi and my last night I spent in Rinaldi on Nevsky Prospekt (the reason is Vasileostrovsky was booked completely for the last day I wished to stay and I had to change my living place). This one is located in the center and the price is RUR 2500 (EUR 74) per night with breakfast. The guest house is situated not far from Moskovsky railway station and it is comfortable to stay if you come by train from Moscow. This Rinaldi is former many-rooms appartments too.
