Komsomol'skaya/Sobornaya Squares
by bugulma
The interesting fact is the place has two names, at least in the city map. The territory close to the monument to revolutionists has a name Komsomol'skaya Square and the terroitory near of the cathedral has a name Sobornaya Square despite of there are some dozens steps between places. The square is in the end of Murav'yov-Amursky Square, not far from the embankment
Amur River
by bugulma
One of the big and long River of Asia, Amur, flows in the city. Skripa said to me that it is prohibited to swim in the river. The reason, she said, the river begins in China territory and nobody knows what they throw into the river. All I can add is there is enough garbage in Russian territory and it is sad for me.
Walk in the green city

Hristorozhdestvensky Cathedral (Cathedral of Birth of the Lord) is situated in Leningradskaya Street, in several steps from railway station. Unfortunately I couldn't find any information about when it was built. Inside there is very interesting iconostasis.
