Most famous hotel running behind

Zhemchuzhina used to be the number one hotel in Sochi, but is slowly falling behind with new modern hotels, not seldom sponsored by Western hotel chains. The hotel is - like so many others - a huge concrete block with relatively small rooms, but offers good services and one of the best places to stay within Central Sochi (in location). All mayor attractions are within walking distance. Prices are - for Westerners relatively low - but within Russia quite high. Rooms are often available for a week or longer in the summerseason.

Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
