We didn't stay in this hotel, but know that many Finnish groups stay there and I've heard good reviews about it.

It's good to stay in this hotel before crossing Russian-Finnish border if you travel by car. You'll have an opportunity to admire Vyborg (the hotel is in the city center) and next morning you'll be the first at the border (other travellers from S-Petersburg will be in their 160-km way!)

I didn't stay there overnight but our bus made a 30 min. stop there on the way to Finnland. The toilets are ok. I also saw a cafe and shop.

The Salakkalahti gulf is one of the most picturesque places in Vyborg.
Ancient ships on which local residents reached coasts of medieval Europe, went on the rivers of Russia to Novgorod and the southern countries are established on the coast of this gulf.
The powerful fountain is built in the center of the gulf.
The hotel "Druzhba" also is situated on its coast.
We didn't stay in this hotel, but know that many Finnish groups stay there and I've heard good reviews about it.
