Hotel with nice view

This is one of the biggest buildings in Vladivostok, ugly from outside but pretty good inside. Comparing the hotel rates all around Russia, price is fairly good. Rooms are clean and have very nice view of ocean. The wi fi internet available only at the lobby.

Unique Quality: The hotels consists of strip club and casino. Online reservation is available from below given web site.

Hotel on a hill.

The 4th Floor is a hotel within a hotel. On my first and second trip to Vladivostok I stayed here. The arrangements were made through New Tours International. Igor Zhamsky took care of all the details including the official "invitation". The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. Prices were reasonable. Will add some photos when I reload them into computer.

Best combination of price&service

Personnally I think it is the best hotel in the city. It has nice lovation ( about5 minute walk from Railway Station), if you're lucky and get a room with seaview - you'll enjoy Amursky Bay. Stuff is very professional and polite and what is more important - English -speaking! It doesn't have this stupid 25% booking fee which most f Russian hotels have. Don't be tricked by Vladivostok hotel - the differnce between them is that Vizit-Vladivostok Ht is a separate hotel with separate managment on the 4th floor in hotel Vladivostok.

Unique Quality: Great view, comfortabale room, wonderful own restaraunt!

Decent Hotel overlooking Amursky Bay

This hotel is located about a 15-min uphill walk from Vladivostok Train station, and convenient walking distance to many of the main points of attraction.

The business structure of this hotel is unusual, as the 4th floor "Vizit Vladivostok Hotel" is a hotel within a hotel, where the main building itself it the "Vladivostok Hotel" whose site is http://www.vladhotel.vl.ru/. You'll even have to bypass the 1st floor lobby and check-in at the 4th floor front desk. It is quiet compared to the main hotel, as the latter seems busy and full with mainly Chinese package tour groups.

The hotel is equipped with souvenier shop, kiosk, business center, casino, restaurant and bar.

It is a decent and clean hotel, though most rooms have no air-con, so it's better to confirm if that is OK if travelling there in hot summer.

Unique Quality: Freudian patterns emerge from the bathroom tiles of patterns of mass of random brush strokes. It was interesting all the "faces" which appear from the patterns...

Accomadations near train terminal

Igor Zhamsky of New Tours International made arrangements for us at the Primorye Hotel. Very nice hotel. Staff was excellent, hotel very clean, attached restaurant clean with good food. Breakfast included with room. Pizza-M also within building. Views were not quite as nice as Vladivostok Hotel but still interesting. Highly recommend this hotel for the budget minded traveler. Felt the prices were reasonable for our room (twin beds with a fold out couch, $167/night for 3 people). Short walk to train terminal, Nostalgia Cafe, market and other kiosks. Easy walk to city's center square and the various shops along Svetlanskaya st.

cheap beds in Vladivostok

Anyone know of cheap place to stay in Vladivostok? Hostel/guesthouse style? All the tips so far seem out of my range.

I was there this summer and after I spent too much $ at The Vlad Inn I found out the Vladivostok Hotel was only 60 bucks a night. Good Luck!

Try http://www.waytorussia.net , they have some good info's. I heard in Russia there are cheap dorms at the raiwaystations, so i think in Wladiwostok maybe too.

There are families there that will put you up and feed you for a fee that is far less than a hotel stay. If you go online there are some US adoption agencies that house adoptive parents this way and they do have inexpensive housing options lists available if they do adoptions in Vlad. The least expensive, but best overall value lodging we found was at the Vladivostock Inn. We loved that place and found it affordable.
