Kem/Kuzova: Hotel business is developing

I think the hotel I stayed in was called 'Kem', however, the information websites say it was 'Kuzova'. It is a very simple and no luxury place. Be prepared to absence of hot water. However, you can always get a boiled kettle from the maid. According to the same websites, they have now built another hotel (maybe that one will be called Kuzova) and it is very promising, I hope it should be much better than the others (see next tip).

Unique Quality: You can skip hotels at all: the only chance you get to Kem anyway is using it as a stopover to Solovki. So just spend a day there between the train and the boat: there is something to see, definitely!
