Kirkko Herrankukkaro: a Hotel-Church

This is very nice but a little bit surprising accomodation in Ruskeala.

Officially this is a Lutheran Church (construction is not even finished yet). But basement level of it contains many rooms used as a guest-house. You can make a "voluntary" donation (in amount fo 1000 r. per person ~$33) for construction of the church and got a nice bed, cup of coffee in the evening, breakfast in the morning and even sauna at night.

This place is usual stop for tourist busses from Finland on their way to St.Peterburg. So, sometime it could be overfull, but we were lucky to get 2 rooms that day.

Unique Quality: More than 20 2- and 3-bed rooms are available. Everything is good, clean and fresh.
Parking for cars and outdoor tables for a kind of picknick.

P.S. Inside of one of toilettes on the door I've seen a strange sign in Russian and Finnish: "Having closed the door do not forget to open!" (see picture)
First, I was a little bit confused... Can you guest what does that mean? :)
