In Hotel Duslik everything was full too (no lie for a change) except for the 2 rooms room which was 1800 R. No breakfast.
Reception was very friendly. The bed the most comfortable big bed I had in Russia. You can leave the luggage at reception after checkout until your train leaves. And you get the registration stamp but have to write a letter to the hotel management which the receptionist is doing for you in Russian and you just sign and they copy the passport.

I have no idea about this hotel before I check in, neither about its location, nor its rating. I just entered the lobby, took my key, and went to my room. And wow! It was a great room with a nice bathroom, big (really big) snow-white bed, television, safe, mini bar, etc. The pyramid shaped shopping center and Kul Sheriff Mosque in Kremlin could be seen from the windows.
Despite being so cold in winter, building interiors were quite warm. So was my room. After the long and cold days, I returned to the warmth of my room. It was a pleasure to fill the bathtub with hot water and lay and think inside.
The breakfast they offer was quite good. Even you can have some “Tatar Boregi” –I suppose- at breads section. Open buffet breakfast has been served in Opera Restaurant and the vista of it is Kremlin. It is a really classy place to have breakfast.
Employees were quite helpful. Many of them speak English, just a few waiters don’t.
This is a place I certainly recommend to you.
It offers sauna, swimming pool, fitness center, a rock bar with brewery, a night club, a nice restaurant... And the most important thing, it is only 5 minutes away from Kremlin and Bauman Street. we arrived without reservations and no luck!
First we went to holtel Wolga near the train station, prices start from 250 roubles and up, but no place!It is on Siad Galeeve. There is an other hotel, but this was full to.
Then we went ot HotelTatarstan on yl.Kuybysheva, and again no luck and this a very big hotel.
Then we went to Hotel Soviet, and yes they do not take forneighers. This hotel is in the centre, on yl.univertskaya.
Then to hotel Duslik, rooms were here 1300 roubles a night, but no rooms availlable.
they sent us to the Tartan house of frienship and they helped us, talking about friendship! In the end we ended up in someones flat, she moved out and we moved in and at the end we had to pay 700 roubles per person, for 5 days!
By te way this is normal in russia.
