Rossiya Hotel Smolensk: Hotels in Smolensk

The only hotel we could find inteh historical center of the city.
9 stories, 220 rooms.

It was built in 1939, Soviet times, which also means small single beds, spartan decor, but lower prices :)

Phoenix Motel: Never again!!!!!

More a truckies stop, and it had a shocking smell, might have been something in the wood though?? Bed okay, and dinner but not breakfast, one meal to be missed. Had a good band when dinner was finished also.

Unique Quality: Nothing going for it al all. But the staff were quite pleasant, and the bar and music for 'late night' was okay.
