    • The hotel is situated in the central part of the city, on the bank of Kotorosl' River, just opposite Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, the main city attraction. I have got a room with view to the river. Single room was RUR 2000 (EUR 58) per night, including breakfast.

    • The following hotels are recommended to the tourists and businessmen:
    "Kotorsl"*** hotel with the prices from $30 to $60 per night,

    "Jubilee"*** hotel with the prices from $33 to $60 per night and with breakfast and

    "Volga"** hotel with the prices from $20 to $55 per night.

    • Very nice people--the security guards (andre, andre and valera) are very nice--along with the restaurant staff. They work with English speakers a lot and are very friendly. Rooms are basic, but do for a place to crash. A little bureaucratic, but this is Russia. :)

    The staff is the greatest.

    • The room was perfectly adequate, although the hotel itself is not all that central. There is a floor lady (dezhurnaya) who can sell you drinks and snack foods and the like.

    The breakfast was good, and included in the price.

    Fairly standard accommodation, but comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was that we got a call from the local escort agency prospecting for business.
