Wine Hotel Matysak

The hotel has two key features: firstly it's location right next to the station, secondly its vast wine cellar. The hotel celebrates wine, especially Slovakian wine, and you can sample its collection in the restaurant or buy bottles from the attached shop.

Despite it's proximity to the station, and its position on one of the busiest roads in the city, the rooms are extremely quiet. They are well insulated and located around the back of the large building.

The cleanliness and comfort levels are closer to four star than the three it claims, but the price is higher than average to justify this. But with accomodation being over-priced in Bratislava in general, the hotel is relatively good value for money.

You also get free wireless internet connection.
