My husband and I will be in europe for 5 weeks by the end of this month.
The first place i like to see is Bratislava.
Any idea what the cheaper way to to to bratislava from Paris.
The train took like forever. Is any fast way we can take
in case we need to take a train..

I would strongly advise to consider some alternative - flight to Vienna, then taking a bus to Bratislava (there are many connections from the Vienna Airport directly to Bratislava). I flew with SkyEurope many times and especially nowadays some other airlines is IMHO more certain bet.
Agree, keeping in mind the problems skyeurope has today.
I didn't spend enough time here to have a *favourite thing* - but if i were to come back I would definitely try out this vegetarian restaurant - not far from the station. I was really surprised to find it but as we had already eaten I didn't need to check it out... next time maybe!
The plugs used in Slovakia have two round pins and many also have a guiding earth pin. Type E and C are both used.

It’s such a peaceful sitting near the historical river. You could sit down by the bank hours if the weather is kind. You will not see not many people by the bank sitting there and reading some books.
Renewed square covered up with green areas and pedestian-only zones. The alley of newly planted trees in an L formation is stretch from the square around the corner to the Danube. In the middle of it all remains the impressive statue of the square´s namesake, Pavol Orságh Hviezdoslav, the country´s most revered writer.
Bratislava unfolds like a storybook, with a series of quaint squares linked by cobblestoned streets. It's a fun place to get lost in - which isn't at all hard to do, especially if you don't have a map and are simply steering by your own inner compass. I did have a decent map when I was there - but I put it away and allowed myself the wonderful luxury of several hours of purposeless wandering. I know that there's a saying, "not all who wander are lost." Some are lost, though, and that's not entirely a bad thing.
