The eruptions of geyser is from a depth 351 m to a height 20-30 m and interval between eruptions is 32-34 hours. The duration of the spout is around 25-30 minutes. There are snacks, board and accommodation possibilities. - getting there - by car, by regular bus SAD
Home In Kosice
by lmkluque
A close-up view of a typical Habitation in Kosice from the third floor flat I stayed in.
The look of the massive buildings, everyone refered to as "habitations," which dotted the landscape throughout Kosice were not charming, especially compared to the lovely old town center. Stepping inside those buildings, it seemed as if I had gone back forty years in time, mainly because the appliances were similar to those we had in USA around 1950.
However, what impressed me most was the love and kindness shown by everyone. In that cold looking enviornment, beat the warmest hearts I've ever known and it felt like home!

More on the Cathedral
by coceng
In a crypt on the left side of the nave is the tomb of Ferenc Rakoczi, an early 18th century rebel leader.
On the cathedral's south side is the 14th century Chapel of St. Michael.
Wander around this church for 15 minutes or so & see the designs adorning the church.

Difficult section so I'll give you two web sites to look through and decide what you might want to do.
Kosice Guide is the city information site. It has has an excellent English Translation (click on flag) and a great guide for hotels and restaurants. Cassovia has a fantastic selection of tourist site to visit but, these pages are in Slovak. You may however, get enough info in the way of location name to use on English Language sites. There is an English Language page which you will like but, not a patch on the Slovak info.
