I am planning to arrive at Kosice airport at Easter, and want to travel to Uzhgorod (in Ukraine).
Does anyone have contact details email or phone of any reliable taxi firms in Kosice that I can arrange, in advance, the journey from Kosice airport to the Ukrainian border (I will walk across) ?

RE: RE: Kosice Taxi Company
I'm British and live in Kosice. My husband has a friend who has a taxi company. He can phone him and get a fixed price for you if you like? Then Miro (the friend) will meet you at the airport and take you to the border.
Travel Tips for Kosice
I must admit that I am not too much of a museum goer.
Especially when the weather is lovely I prefer to walk outside than to go to a museum.
Nevertheless, Kosice seems to have some interesting museums which might keep you happy on a rainy day.
The East Slovak Museum presents many objects from the history and culture of Eastern Slovakia.
The museum was established in 1872 and is located at Hviezdoslavova ul. 3 just north of the city centre.
For the more technical orientated people, the Slovak Technical Museum might be of interest. The collection includes mining, astronomy, engineering and several other topics. It can be found at Kosice's main street Hlavna ulica 88.
The Wax Museum which is located in the St. Urban Tower exhibits more than 20 famous people of the Slovak history.

The oldest Marathon in Europe and the second oldest in the world takes place in Kosice on every first Sunday in October. The history of the so called "Peace Marathon" dates back to 1924.
A statue of a marathon runner which lists all winners can be found at the Square of the Peace Marathon (Namestie Marathonu mieru) just opposite of the East Slovakian Museum.
The Cathedral of St. Elizabeth
...dom sv Alzbety. This is a magnificent, late-Gothic style Cathedral.
It is the biggest and most important gothic monuments ever built in Slovakia and the only one of this kind in Eastern Europe.
The construction of the present cathedral was started by the end of the 14th century, completed in 1508.
Morning Time : Trencin Town...
We were there in the morning. Most people maybe just started to do their chores or maybe still having breakfast.
I prefer Kosice to be looked like this anyway so I was enjoying the morning sights more than Marek.
It was less people but as the hours passed us by, more people plus tourists looming Kosice.
Some Torture Equipments...
Here, we can see some torture equipments displayed for us. I remember the guide was showing us or rather telling us how the equipments work.
Do I need to explain ?
Maybe you guys can use your own (twisted) imaginations...
