World Famous Kosice Philharmonic!
by lmkluque
If you have the opportunity of hearing the Kosice Philharmonic in concert, don't miss it. They are world-class musicians! They have toured on the East and West Coasts of the USA and several of their members have a group called the 'Beggars' and play Blue Grass for tourists in the Mountian areas during vacation season. They were invited to play in New York a few years ago, for a "Bluegrass Feastival!" Pictured is the back of The Beggar's CD. Though it was kind of funny, at first, to hear the 'Beverly Hillbilly's' song sung with a Slovak accent, their music is great!

How Beautiful Kosice Is !
by coceng
Me & Marek wandered around Kosice & discovered how beautiful the town is ! Almost every turn had good scenes & atmosphere, not to mention monument & buildings; to be captured by me !
The most valuable part of the town of Kosice, which attract practically all visitors, is the historical core with a spindle-shaped square and pedestrian zone along the Main street (Hlavna ulica) proclaimed a historical town reserve.
Visitors of Kosice can admire very different architectonic styles documenting the famous and rich history of the town.
Entrance To Another Chamber/Room...
by coceng
Here's another entrance to another room. Some rooms were the actual prison cells where the prisoners were kept ! Eerie or what ?
The 16th century building where this prison is situated is belong to the East Slovak Museum. It is the former city prison and torture-chamber.
