Hotel Mlynky: Pleasant small hotel

I slept here very well. Rooms are clean, comfortable, I liked the colours. I would choose this accomodation again. The staff is friendly and willing.
The hotel interior is really as nice as in the www page pictures

Close to a cross country skiing centre and 450m slope. The slope is not too long, but very well kept.
There is sauna, whirpool, fitness centre and a squash court in the hotel too.

Opinion of Price: about average

Hotel Sport - Spisska Nova Ves

Walking distance:
bus station: about 15 minutes
train station: about 15 minutes
supermarket: about 4 minutes
city center: about 10 minutes

Cleaness: ok but not superb
Staff: nice but I had some problems with paying. They accept the credit cards but the terminal didn't work properly. They had problems with using their booking program and I had to wait longer than usually. Paying before check in is here the rule. Pay one day before departure if you think you could be in a hurry next day.

My Room: basic but ok. For that price you should not expect too much. I paid approx. 16€ for a night.

I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are a budget traveller.

Private Rooms in Hrabusice

I didn't take that chance.:-) I was told that arriving in Hrabusice you could be attacted by women hunting for tourists who wanted to visit the SP and offering a room. I was told that the average price for the room is about 13-15€.
I don't like privite rooms and stayed in a hotel in NSP.

Hrabusice is a perfect starting point to the northern part of the SP but not a perfect place for gourmets. It's a village. There are one or two restaurants.
