Hotel Lek - my experience

4 years ago I tried to find hotel, I send requests to several of them in Kranjska gora, and Hotel Lek was the only one which sent me immediately return information without any complications and nag. I returned to Hotel Lek every year so far, hotel is ok. I like to be in nature so I didn't put notice much in interior details. In 4 years I scanned all accomodation available at Hotel Lek - in the most expensive one (appartment for families with balcony) the restaurant-chef will call you in the evening to check will you come down to dinner if you already didn't. At that large appartment they informed me at check-in that they took away an extra room (closed it with a key) in place of 2 strawberry mousse and ice-cream (gave me a coupon to spend it in their hotel bar)?! In the most cheapest accomodation they don't give a damn if you appear or not, which is fine with me, I like not to be disturbed. The breakfast was somewhat scarce last year (perhaps due to recession). They have free wireless internet in the lobby available (it was pay service until 2010). Personnel/stuff is very kind.

A nice hotel in a quite corner of the village

I stayed in the superior room which is well worth the extra money as the room included a safe, flat screen tv, mini bar and (most importantly) a balcony.
Some rooms only have a tiny window set in to the slanted roof so its well worth paying the extra.
Breakfast - all you can eat with cereals, bacon, sausage, fried eggs, ham, cheeses and bread.
Dinner also bufet style with serveral choices.
Look out to for the special deals of the day on wine, beer and juice.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice bar on the ground floor serving (amongst over things) some very nice cocktails.
Free swiming pool (with whirl pools) and also free table tennis.

Unique Quality: Amazing views over to the mountains
Hotel arrange guided walks occasionally and can also provide packed lunches (free for people who booked via the Inghams brochure)

Its also worth trying one of the many cakes available every dinner time!

Good value, little character

Clean, warm rooms, if a little small.
Fabulous breakfasts, packed lunches everyday (but always cheese/ham sandwiches), buffet dinner with 'scary' dinner lady serving the main course (reminds you that this place was communist not so long ago).
Little atmosphere and nowhere to relax after dinner except in the (smokey) bar downstairs. Bar shuts at 10pm but it does serve the best homemade blueberry schnaps in town!
Friendly staff hampered by lack of facilities (e.g. coffee shop). You have to walk into town (5 minutes) to sit in the sunshine with a beer.

Unique Quality: The 'scary' dinner lady (see above)

L'Hôtel Lek **** est attrayant tout au long de l'année offrant au client de multiples possibilités pour le repos, la récréation et le divertissement.

La piscine, sauna, terrains de tennis aménagés (séances nocturnes), chambres confortables, personnel aimable, sont des faits qui vous font garder in souvenir inoubliable. En plus le bien-être, la relaxation, le ski en hiver, les randonnées estivales, la cueillette des champions....

Unique Quality: L'Hôtel Lek **** possède 137 lits, chambres avec salle de bain, téléphone, TV, en majorité avec mini bar.

L'Hôtel dispose d'une salle de congrès avec l'équippement moderne d'une capacité de 90 sièges.

Parmi les hôtes on trouve aussi des amateurs de la pêche, VTT, alpinisme et parachutisme.

Les pistes de ski bien aménagées sont tentants pour les skieurs du monde entier.

L'Hôtel LEK **** est facilement accessible, situé auprès de la frontières de 3 pays : La Slovénie, l'Autriche et l'Italie....

L'Hôtel LEK **** se trouve à deux pas de Kranjska Gora à l'abri des forêts et près des pistes de ski de VITRANC.

L'endroit où se rencontrent la nature, le confort, le goût raffiné, le contemporain, la tradition et le cosmopolitisme....Le village de Kranjska Gora et ses environnements étendus sur les pentes des Alpes Juliennes vous enchanteront!

Les hautes montagnes qui entourent la vallée lui donnent un cachet exeptionnel: le climat alpin et l'air sain....

Unique Quality: Le voyageur sera séduit par l'amabilité des gens et par le pays très soigné.

Ici règne l'esprit de noble tradition.
