Snowboarding in early December?
Hi,
1. Would snowboarding be possible in the 2nd week of December?
2. Does it start to snow by early Dec, or are snow cannons started that early?

Sorry, not sure what you are trying to say... you seem to have made a sentence construction error.
Is the resort you mention good?

It depends on the weather. Kranjska gora is in the valley, not high in the mountains and snow cannons can work only if temperatures are low. You can go to Vogel in that area or a little further down to Ljubljana to Krvavec resort, which will be opened for sure.

Hi Darshan,
The winter season in Kranjska gora is due to kick of on the 8th
December but as yet there is no snow, all I can suggest is that you check the
website http://www.kranjska-gora.si/index.php?l=3 and look at the live cams.
Usually they have a few runs prepared for the opening.
Equipment rental is usually lower than a lot of other resorts in Europe a board
and boots should cost just over €20 per day and €102 per 6 days.
personal Lessons should you need them are €41 for two hours.

You Must Go to See This
Planica! Planica is probably the biggest party of the year in these parts.
Fans come in their tens of thousands to see this spectacle every year, including myself and two friends. Although there is a large amount of alcohol consumed there is very little, if any trouble. It's just great.
BIKE TRAIL RATECE - GOZD MARTULJEK
Bike trail goes from Ratece to Gozd Martuljek.
From Martuljek to Kranjska it goes on the old railway tracks and is separated from the motorway.It goes by resting places and refreshment points, interesting poiunts of interest - cultural and natural . On the west it goes to Ratece and to Mangart Lakes.Total distance from Gozd Martuljek to Ratece is about 20 km.

Gotovo, nema vise. Sada je na redu ona druga tekma, najprije se moras izboriti za svoje mjesto u birtiji, sto i nije laka zadaca. Nakon toga nastaje borba za cugu a u toj borbi dobar lakat je dusu dao. Sva je sreca sto sam igrao kosarku.

it is an easy trip by local bus. Catch the Ljubliana bus and change at Radovljica.
Visit the ruins of Grad Kamen A few films have been made here Jackie Chan's Armour of god started here and also the Disney film Condor man starring Michel Crawford, the Church of St Peter and the Hostages Museum at the rear of the hospital are also worth a visit.
Be sure to look at the walls and doors where you can see where the hostages scribed writing and pictures, one that stays in my mind is that of a German officer.
You can only imagine how young teenage men and women handled the terrible situation they were in.
