Nice hotel in centre Ljubljana

Ljubljana's Excellent Downtown Hotel

Stayed at the Grant Union - Executive in June 2007. Had a wonderful room even though it was next door to the entrance to the pool. Room was clean and equally spacious to an American hotel room. The hotel is nicely situated near the center of Ljubljana. Easy to get to the tourist areas downtown. Front desk personnel were very helpful arranging for drivers to the airport.

Four star hotel

We stayed in this hotel 2 times in our trip, in the begging and in the end.
The first time we stayed in the old part of the hotel, the room had view to Franciscan church .The room is marvelous recently renew in one word was perfect. The bathroom was huge with bathtub.
The second time we stayed at the new part of the executive hotel. The room this time was very bud. First the room had a bud odor very intense.Second the room needs to dyed, the pillows were scratched, and the door bath doesn’t close well.
So I recommend you to ask a room in the old part of the hotel.

Unique Quality: I must said that the stuff was very friendly, the hotel located in exhalent place,the hotel has underground garage a little expensive 17 Euro a day. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Nice Hotel

I had heard that the Grand Hotel was a popular choice for foreign diplomats and politicians. What I didn't expect was that the floor I was staying on would be protected by armed bodyguards trying to look inconspicuous. I was a bit worried that they might just mistake me for an assassin or something!

That said I couldn't fault this hotel. My room was very well appointed, clean and the staff very helpful.

Unique Quality: The hotel is in a great central location. It also has a good range of facilities including an indoor rooftop pool.
