    The hotel is 800m away from the railway and bus station as well as from the bus stop link with the airport terminal.
    Rooms are basic, but clean.

    I spent my entire time in Ljubljana here. The rooms are about as bland and dull as anything you've ever seen, but, once again, what the heck are you doing in your hotel room? It gives an excellent free, buffet breakfast and is a short and really pleasant walk to the center of town. I think this hotel is near a university or dorms, because lots of kids hang out here. But, you never hear them inside, so its quite alright.

    ** I checked my bank statement and I paid roughly about $23 USD for a single, even though they gave me a double. Checking their website, the prices have gone up to 40 Euro for a single. I would definitely bargain. **

    If this hotel were not cheap and centrally located, I would not recommend it unless you are on a tight budget. That being said, I would stay here again upon return to Ljubljana. The room was barebones, but clean. The service desk was helpful. The included breakfast was so awful we ate elsewhere each day. We could walk to the main drag in 5 minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, set off the road about 100 meters.

    Nice view of the city if you are on an upper floor.

    Hotel Park is convenienly located close to the railway station and to the town centre. It's quite a big place so you could probably show up here without a booking and still expect to get a room.

    Our room was basic but clean and overall it was fairly good value at 63 Euro for a double. Breakfast was included though it was a little disappointing. Nothing worse than starting your day with a bad coffee!

    At the time of our visit, in April 2004, budget hotels in the centre of Ljubjlana were few in number and Hotel Park was probably the best option. As Ljubljana becomes a more popular tourist destination I'd expect to see better places than this.

    Rooms with private facilities are $40 single, $50 double. I had one without a shower but with toilet and sink for around $30.

    Though a bit institutional in atmosphere, this very centrally located hotel offers private clean rooms with an ample and tasty breakfast at the cheapest prices in town.

    Multi-story hotel, handy for the train station. Breakfast area was very crowded the morning I was there. About 10 minutes walk to the old town.

    Under £30 GBP for a double room and breakfast

    Good value, tower block hotel, buffet breakfast included in the price, friendly staff made us feel welcome.

    10,000 SIT for a double room with breakfast. Pay in advance and get 10% off!

    This hotel is in a relativly quiet, residential part of the city. That is except for around Christmas with all the kids with fireworks! The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. It is not far from the city centre, an easy walk for most people. Don't bother getting up for breakfast though, it is pretty bad! Ask for a room away from the lifts as they make quite a lot of noise.

    The centrally located Hotel Park at Tabor 9, 1000 Ljubljana is a good choice as it is the only budget hotel near the Center and Old Town. Its also only a short walk away from the train and bus stations. The room turned out to be comfortable enough and included a small fridge and TV, though the poor quality and limited choice of the buffet-style breakfast was something of a letdown. The opportunity to watch some Slovenian TV did go some way towards making up for this.

    • For a single room I paid about £25 per night.

    Good basic accommodation. Get up early for the best choice in breakfast though. As the rooms do not have air conditioning we also had to be a bit canny about what side of the building we preferred a room in.
