From the cheapest to the most expensive - Habakuk is indeed a luxury hotel, one of the best and the most expensive in Slovenia. I do not expect to spend a night there, unless on a business trip!
I attended PODIM conference that was organised in the hotel. The service was seemless and we really enjoyed the stay. It is a bit pricy but this is a spa hotel just off the world cup skiing slope and 10 minute taxi drive from the city center. The furniture is nice, the hotel is clean and staff were very friendly.
Being a spa hotel just off the world cup skiing slope and very close to a bustling medieval city center is a very rare quality.
I was in Maribor to attend a conference which took place in the Habakuk conference centre (which is inside this hotel), so the obvious place to stay was the hotel itself. What a good choice! :) The staff is very friendly and professional, the food EXCELLENT, the rooms spacious, air-conditioned, with TVs, radios, mini-bars, and huuuuge bathrooms! :)
Apart from the conference centre, this hotel also posesses an internet cafe, a swimming pool, a sauna, a wellness centre, couple of really nice restaurants AND is close to the skiing paths!
