3 nights here for us, looks like it's been renovated recently, our room was very new. Room clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast ncluded in the price.
July '07 there is some building work nearby and a little noisy at times but, that will soon be finished I imagine.

Renovated pleasure
This 3* hotel is very well located, being just over the square from the City Castle. The whole hotel has been renovated recently and it shows. The room I had was virtually sparkling. It had a king-size doublebed at one end and a sofa, desk and walldrobe at the other separated by a TV on top of a cabinet housing a mini-bar and shelves. The room was really what I would call a suite than just a double bedroom but I believe all the rooms are like this. The WC was separate from the main bathroom which had a doublesize walk-in shower with sliding door, sink and hairdryer. Breakfast was the usual continental affair plus some cooked food such as scrambled eggs and sausages. This was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at and the out-of-season price during the summer makes it a real bargain. Also included in the price is free admission to the Fontana spa complex which is well worth going to.

Dormitory deal
I was confused because it seemed to good to be true but I stayed here for only 20 Euros. The establishment is on one side a upper class hotel (Hotel Orel) and another side a dormitory for students (Uni Hotel). In the summer when school is over you can book one of the dormitory rooms for only 20 Euros. You still have the amenities of the hotel like breakfast in the dining room (good breakfast too) and the lounge. My room had 3 beds, desk, refrigerator, and private bath with a tub. Also the hotel is in the town center ( the epicenter) so no car needed, you have lovely shops, churches, cafes, pubs, morning street musicians........ The town is lovely and a great place to visit for sport and culture. Since the two are connected and rather large you can sometimes become lost in the hallways.
