According to my copy of Lonely Planet Slovenia, the Tourist Information Office was meant to be located opposite the train station but has now moved to be in front of the Franciscan Church near the City Castle.
Open: Monday - Friday 9.00-19.00, Saturday 9.00-17.00, Sunday 9.00-12.00.

Wine cellar.
In the town centre there is a two hundred year old classical wine cellar which symbolizes a higly esteemed wine culture and extending from the town itself are hills that are abundant with wines.
If you stay at the Orel Hotel then you can get in to this thermal spa water complex for free, which is what I did! The spa complex was the second such complex I visited whilst staying in Slovenia after visiting Atlantis in Ljubljana and I have to say that I like them a lot and wish they were here in my country. This complex is located about a 10 minute bus trip to the west of the city and features a number of indoor and outdoor pools with more than 160 massage jets, whirlpools and water effects. The water temperature is between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius.

According to the dsign, it was probably chapel, turn into the Tabacceria nowadays. It stands on the right bank of the river Drava, where the main bridge to the centre of the town ends. Too bad, it could have much better purpose.
Friendly pizza place close to the river and nicely in the shade ona warm day. Pizzas very tasty, and nicely cooked and arrived with dishes of onions, garlic, jalapeno and tomato to add to it - a nice touch, never seen that at a pizza restaurant before, been to a few as well.......
Anyway, recommend this one highly, we enjoyed.
