Casino Hotel: Great Hotel
This place is brilliant, we stayed for 3 nights, and could have had a 4th night for free but we only needed 3 so didn't bother.
There is a Casino in the Hotel and is open 24 hours, from what we could tell anyway, we didn't go to it. Everything in the hotel is very modern and is located central to most things in the town(which there isn't much off). There is also free internet at reception which any hotel guest can use.
Unique Quality: Nova Gorica is on the border of Italy and is very easy to go between Nova Gorica & Gorizia, which can be handy as you could take day trips to the beaches in Italy.

There are no official tourist...
There are no official tourist lodgings in Medana, but experience has shown that accommodation can be arranged beyond the official state of affairs. Stop at Mr Aleks Klinec in Medana 20, and he will definitely have a good advice. On the festival, we slept in his half-finished new house on cots, so at least this can be provided!
