Fabuluos 10 days stay in April

We stayed in Alp Penzion with our two daughters from March 31st to April 10th. It turned out that Bled was a perfect location for our day and half-day trips to Bohinj lake, Lujbliana, Postojna Jama, Piran and Triest. We had two spacious rooms with balconies, en-suite bathrooms and a small connecting hall. Our rooms were clean, updated and made-up every day. The bathrooms were also modern and neat. There was fast wi-fi in the rooms, nice-looking breakfast area and beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately it was low season, and the Penzion hasn't served dinner yet , but the breakfast was good and filling. The Alp Penzion is located a little bit out of Bled's centre, it took us 15 minutes of strolling to get to the lake and 10 mitues to get to the Ziva swimming pools (it is really quite near, bearing in mind that our 6 year old daughter is a slow walker). To me, the location was really great, because the main road of Bled is a bit loud and the night life of the town centre can be quite a disturbance. We loved the place and the warm hospitality of the owners. If we come again, we will definetely choose the Alp Pezion for stay.

Unique Quality: Yes, there is an extra attraction to this place - it is the Essence Wellness and Spa centre just door to door with the Alp Penzion. It is brand new, has modern spacious premises and offers full range of body and facial treatment. We enjoyed coming to their VIP-sauna twice and pampered ourselves with Turkish and Finnish saunas, hot-water jacuzzi outdoor and a compliment bottle of sparkling wine with fruit. Then we tried full-body massage with herbs and warm oil and it's worthed every single minute of it. The face care session was really impeccable.
The quality to money ratio was above my expectations. I do recommend everyone to plan and reserve the massage and cosmetic treatments in advance, because the demand for this welness centre's services is high.
