accomodation tips?

Hi all,
We will travel to Portoroz in July. Could anyone give us tips for
nice and reasonable prize accomodation (private apartment, cheap hotel etc.)
including air-conditioning and not so far locating from sea/center? Suitable prize could be approximately 60-90 euros/whole room or apartment/night. If you can recommend some, could you please give us further information in that we can take contact and ask.

Look at the excellent official tourist info site www.slovenia.info It lists all accommodation, and you can book online through them.
Portoruz ia an extremely popular holiday destination. You'll be visiting in the peak season, so you must expect prices to be higher (and availability lower) than at other times of year.
Travel Tips for Portoroz
Walking To Piran...

When you are in Portoroz, you must walk to the nearest medieval town, Piran.
They sit next to each other almost.
About 5 km south-east of Piran or about 20 minutes by bus if you don't feel like walking.
Piran has the old Venetian charm that could lure people with its medival cobble-stoned streets, churches, the old lighthouse, houses & a marina packed with boats & yachts.
walk around the Old Town in Piran & you can see that almost everything from the Venetian rule is still very much intact !
It is definitely the Ole World charm next to the
honky-tonk beach resort that we call Portoroz.
Portoroz and Piran

Portoroz is a popular destination with Slovenians and also with a lot of Italians who cross the border for a cheap weekend. It is a big holiday resort type town with cafes, restaurants, hotels and a few bars. There isnt a beach as such, mainly rocks but the water is clear and refreshing. A 3km walk up the road is Piran, a small old town which is definately worth the visit. You can climb a bell tower here and chill out in the main square. Theres also a nudist beach if you wanna have a perv!
