Apartment Stanarjevi: Nice apartment directly in Štanjel

We’ve stayed some great nights in an apartment in Štanjel. It’s in the last row at the hill, with a nice view on the surrounding. They have two such apartments, with a well equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. In front of the house there’s also a table and some place to sit outside. We had a great stay there, I only can recommend it!

There’s also a parking close to the house, but it’s quite adventurous to drive through Štanjel with it’s small gate and the narrow streets! When we arrived we first parked at the gate and called the landlady who came to show us the way. We were not sure if it’s really possible to pass the gate with the car, but she said that it won’t be a problem so we tried it. Somehow it worked… and also inside the village the streets are so narrow, and finally there’s a kind of gravel path that you have to drive up. The next day we parked the car in front of the gate and walked up, it’s not that far and less exciting!
