Hi we are staying at the Vera beach club shortly and wanted to hire a car for a few days but we do not have a credit card and everywhere I have rang or looked on the internet will allow you to pay for the car hire by debit card before you travel but when you go to pick your hire car up apparently you have to leave your credit card details as a deposit and pay for the fuel. Does anyone know of any car hire places in Vera or nearby Garracha or Mojacar that will take cash (euros) as payment for the fuel and do not need to take your credit card details?

Not promising anything but go see Caracola cars not sure of number but seach there website. I know they are very good because The owner of Discovery 4x4 Tours (jeep safari) advised us of them and she uses them for her family I have their number you could always give her a ring on 0034 661 233 890 she has a lot of knowledge on the area and her tours are amazing if you want to do something different.
This olive oil museum is devoted to an industry of recent apparition in Almeria.
You can learn the traditional ways to make olive oil, visit a real ancient "almazara" or olive mill and taste and buy many different types of olive oils, made in Almeria.
The museum is housed by a XIXth century mansion Almerian style in the old quarter.
Almeria has confirmed my belief that I love Spain! My first trip to this mediterranean town and I was blown away - first by the absolute contrast of the surroundings of a desert opening into a beautiful azure sea and then by the stunning landscapes, the food and the people of this lovely city. I am pretty sure my work will take me back here quite often and I am not complaining at all!
