hi, this is my first time posting and first time travelling abroad, but the website looks helpfull and i hope people can help me please!im going supposed to be going to tabernas, almeria to do my dissertation in september, i have flights booked to alicante and accomodation there for one night. does anyone know any cheap ways to travel to tabernas bearing in mind i can't drive...cheap scooter/moped hires for example? or bus travel? are there any buses other than airport transfer to almeria or tabernas from alicante? or from almeria to tabernas?
Why don't you get a cheap flight to Almeria? Eayjet and others go to Almeria. It's a lot easier.
It's about 300 Km far away!!... the scooter option don't look very sensible to me, there are no direct trains (even you can do Alicante-Almeria changing train in Albacete). Probaby there there are buses, but I cannot help on this.
The previous aswer is right... do you have any possibilty to change your flight?
Designes by Trainidad Cuartara and López Rull and built in 1887 in an eclectic style, bullfighting events and concerts take place here. It has a capacity for 9054. The building is a 20-side poligone.
Bullfights in Almeria include something that make them special. A lunch break is introduced after the 4th bull is killed, something that is not done in any other bullring in the world.
Almeria was one of the first sunny places I visited. My parents found it at a very low price, you can imagine how exciting it was for me! :)
I don't remember too much, but the beaches very nice, we hired bikes also, its nice to visit, a waterpark is about 2 hour away (well when I was there in 1996!)
