The Hotel Antequera Golf, which is situated near to the edge of the town and about 15 to 20 minutes walk into its centre, is a very comfortable place in which to stay. It is built around an attractive courtyard with a swimming pool at the centre of it, which our bedroom looked out onto. There is also an indoor pool with sauna, jacuzzi etc for which we paid a ten euro entry fee.
Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style with a huge choice of dishes, and an unexpected bonus was that we were given complementary wine with our dinner every evening.
The hotel is also a venue for business meetings etc, which does result in the sense of holiday relaxation being slighly diminished occasionally by people in dark suits!
An area of land beyond a car park on the other side of the road in front of the hotel was being developed whilst we were there, whch meant that there were views over cranes etc. However, this really only affected the view from the lobby so far as we were concerned.

Not based right in the centre of Antequera which is a plus! as there are no disturbing outside noises to disrupt sleep. A big, modern, well equipped hotel which sees more Spanish visitors and company conferences than your average tourist. Service is professional, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, has outdoor and indoor pool + gym, nice restaurant and a brilliant breakfast buffet for 8 euros a head that is open to the public.

Hotel Antequera Golf (www.hotelantequera.com) is a beatiful 4 luxury stars 5 minutes walking by the center of Antequera. Have every services you can afford and it´s in a quiet area near all sports intallations.
Unique Quality: Have pool (out and inside the hotel, warm one), golf course, spa, sauna, restaurant, bar, disco and a few services more. Check its web to see it by yourself.

The Antequera Golf Hotel host events in the Golf Club grounds during the summer. Last year, I saw famous spanish pop singer David Bisbal - it was fab, sitting under the stars, the lights of Antequera twinkling below and professional live entertainment.
Call into the hotel reception area and ask if there are any events scheduled - you don't want to miss out!
This hotel opens its doors to general public to share their delicious breakfast buffet. Not as good as US buffets, however, it has all you could wish for at breakfast and plenty more for just 8 euros.
Restaurant is set behind the bar area on the ground floor.
