Luxury

Hotels called Parador were originally places like, Castles, Palaces, convents or even monasteries. This one in Arcos used to be a palace called Casa del Corregidor. In the late 1920's a lot were bought by the government and turned into these luxury hotels.
There is a lovely terrace with views over the valley where you can enjoy a drink. I think you pay for the view as well!

Parador de Arcos

At Plaza del Cabildo, In front to the town hall and next to the church of Santa Maria.

From their restaurant terrace you can enjoy great views
Sometimes you can get good offers, normally the price is 112 Euros the night at the web site, but we got offers with other web sites for 60 euros the night
