Souvenir from Benalmadena
by Christianne
I never leave one place before bying something. I bought, therefore, a new suitcase which anyway I needeed because the ones I had with me they were not enough after days of shopping.
I don't remember if the picture was taken before or after. It doesn't matter.
Paseo Maritimo and beaches in Benalmádena.
by Regina1965
The Paseo Maritimo - the promenade in Benalmádena is just wonderful, with a lot of artwork along the way (see my next tip). There are shops and restaurants all along the promenade, it is quite a lovely walk and at night the night-life is very lifely, with artist and painters and lots of stall with things for sale.
The beaches at Benalmádena stretch all the way down to Fuengirola, I have only been down to the casino though, but the beaches I've been to are lovely. The beaches closest to the marina are called Playa de Arroyo de la Miel y Los Melilleros. Then there are Playa Santa Ana and Playa de Bil-Bil. A lot of shells on these beaches :D

"Benalmadena"
It is in Costa del Sol and located between Torremolinos and Fuengirola.Benalmadena Costa the part of most interest to the many tourists who visit this popular Costa del Sol resort every year. The resort lies 15km south west of Malaga airport Benalmadena has more than 8km of beaches some of which are in small coves and often have rocks at the ends of them. The sand is not as fine as some of the other resorts but a lot of work is done to maintain the cleanliness of all of the beaches. There are sun loungers and shades available for rent all the way along the front. If you go to the beach take care with seashells, they are big ones and can hurt your foot, wear a kind of sea shoes to protect them.Have fun!
