Midsummer night - San Juan.
by Regina1965
I celebrated San Juan - Midsummer night - in Benalmádena this year as they celebrate in style with a much bigger celebration than Torremolinos. Fires are lit on the beach on the whole coastline and there is dancing and drinking until the wee hours of the morning. It was unbelievably crowded especially by Castillo de Bil-Bil where I stood as from there was a big firework-show which was supposed to start at midnight but started almost an hour late. Don´t miss this event if you are in this area on June 23rd it is awesame.

Proxima parada Banalmadena!
by AlexeRoy
"A nice afternoon trip!"
In Banalmadena there is lots going on around the port area: plaza Solymar (near the port). Plaza Mezquita and Arroyo de la Miel is also busy.
The market place near the port and the avenida Antonio Machado are the place to go to get good deals on many things.
On friday morning in the Tivoli world parking there is a market.
In Banalmadena you can have a few hours of fun at Tivoli World (if you went to Disney or even La Ronde, MTL you will find Tivoli World very small and primitive.) Tivoli world: 19 Euros per person: Not worth it! 0034 966 764 986, http://www.spaincostadelsol.co.uk/tivioli%20world.htm
