Vincci Selección Aleysa, Hotel Boutique & Spa: Best Boutique Hotel in Benalmadena-Costa
My wife and me went to Benalmadena in January, what is straight "Off Season", therefore we got a super deal, 2 persons including spa and Breakfast for under 120 € per nigth.
The Owner took us around to show us the Hotel with a very deserved pride.
The staff was attentive, friendly and professional, nothing was too much to be asked for, everything got a "Yes Sir we can do that!"
It's designed with care and attention to the smallest details in an effort to make the guest feel home and really taken care off. The Breakfast Buffet was delicious, everything fresh and tasty.
The spa was very nice and so relaxing after a hard day of shopping and exploring the area.
It's location is superb, straight on the beach, within walking distance of everywhere, close to the world class marina, the Restaurant and shopping areas.
In my eyes you can not do any better then them. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Aleysa
The outside pool is saltwater, has a very nice jaccuzzi on the side, we didn't try it doe it just was a titch too cold in january. but it certainly looked inviting.
They have a very nice Inside Spa area with all that means, sauna, Vapor baths, and massage facility.

Sol Timor Apartments, Torremolinos: Superb Location
This is our 7th stay here (September 2010) & hopefully, next year as well.
The location is superb, sitting across from the beach & beside the Marina.
The apartments are getting a bit tired & would require refurbishment. There is no air-con but you can hire a fan for 15 Euros (20E deposit) for 2 weeks.
Towels are changed every other day & beds changed every 4 days.
The small kitchen has a 2 ring cooker, microwave & toaster but no kettle. You are able to hire one or bring your own. Fine for making a sandwich at lunch time.
We usually got a room on the 10/11 floor, block 3 but this year were given a better room on the 5th floor, block 2, with better views looking over the pool, Med & Marina.
Overall, the studio room is good as you are only sleeping there & not cooking a 3 cource meal.
There is a large pool with a separate kids pool. Unfortunatly, you have to pay for the sun beds, 2.50E each, which makes it expensive for 2 weeks but there is plenty of room to lie on the grass on towels or lilo's.
The clientele are mostly Southern Irish, Dutch or Spanish. Unfortunatly this year there were Southern Irish singing sectarian songs. Highly offensive. Saying that, it is rare for that to happen.
Staff are friendly & efficient.
Good choice of restaurants/bars outside the apartments.
Taxi into Torremolinos for 6 E as the buses were packed. Walked back along the promenade.
You are able to walk anywhere in Benelmadena within 45 mins from the apartments.
Overall, these apartments tick all the boxes for a good holiday ie good location & cheap.

We had our own appartment, with two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It was really well priced and in upper Benalmadena, so not among all the tourists. If only I remembered the name...
Your own kitchen and bathrooms, and a balcony with a nice view.
