Could someone please tell me how far the Marina is from the 24 hour square, hoping to visit Benalmadne at Easter?
Looks about 5 minutes walk to me mate. Only passed Benalmadena on the motorway though, enough for us!! Check A and B on here:

Hi, Benal Marina is a few minutes from 24 hour square. Stood at the square looking towards the sea to your slight right is a road that will take you straight to the Marina, it is literally about 200 metres away.

There are some fabulous sea creatures, including several different species of seahorse, angel fish, lobster, cardinal fish, yellow-tailed sturgeon, scorpion fish, conger eels, jellyfish, sea slugs and crabs. The decorative tanks, several with shipwreck themes, have magnifying and minifying glass which work effectively to give a three-dimensional wide-ocean feel.
Benalmádena Pueblo is situated on a hill above Benalmádena costa. From the costa you can take a bus to the village, but be sure that it says "Benalmádena pueblo" on the bus. You can read the troubles I had with the bus driver under my tip "Warnings and dangers" so do get off when you see a white village up on the hill. The bus fare is only 1,20 euros.
Benalmádena Pueblo is a typical Spanish village with white houses, a church and a square. On the square, which is called "Plaza de Espana" is the bronze statue which is the symbol of Benalmádena "La Nina de Benalmádena" or The girl of Benalmádena. A lovely statue made by the sculptor Jaime Pimentel.
