Tired hotel.
by A TripAdvisor Member
Stayed at the Hotel Siroco for 7 nights - out of season. Hotel room very basic, small, tired furniture and bed linen. 10 minute walk to beach, hotel in the thick of 'bangers and mash' and 'fish and chips' type restaurants. Buffet breakfast - basic, very greasy food with tinned fruit offered! Evening entertainment awful - amateur night at its worst.
Great All Round Holiday

We have just returned from 2 weeks at The Siroco Hotel in Benalmadina. We had a great time.
The Rooms were clean and the food was good.
The Hotel provided plenty of activities for those who were interested, and the pool area was there for anyone who just wanted to relax. (Although the traffic could be noisy at times as the Hotel is adjacent to the main road)
I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone especially at the very reasonable price we paid.
Great Out of Season Break
by TripAdvisor Member GMay
Our party contained 7 adults and everyone of us had a really great break. The Siroco was a changed hotel at the last moment but it really could not be seriously faulted. The rooms were large and all had sea views, they were kept very clean by attentive maids. The food was buffet style and was Very Good overall. The entertainment was most acceptable although not classic. The one thing that stood out was the attention and poiletness of all the staff at the Siroco. The New Years Gala Dinner was a bit of unknown but a great meal and party that went well into the new year, once again nothing was a bother for the ever attentive staff. The Siroco is well positioned for every event, taxi's and busses at the end of the road - the beach is only a short walk down the hill and the Impressive Marina just a short walk away. Dont quite know how it will be in the height of summer but this Hotel and area is a great out of season venue. Would have no hesitation in returning.
Loved our holiday at Siroco
by TripAdvisor Member Beralju
Have just returned from a 5 week stay at the Siroco and thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather could have been kinder but always found something to do. We had a very nice spacious room (No.224) and when the sun did come out we took advantage of the balcony. The staff were all very friendly especially Janet on reception, Jose the head waiter and all the dining room staff and of course how could one forget Tony the animacion man. He was lovely, kind, hardworking and a pleasure to be with. He definitely deserves to go a long way with his talents. Well done Tony.
Siroco will definitely see us again. Best wishes to all. Bery and Alan Lowes, Hull, England.Beryl and Alan Lowes
Loved Christmas Eve meal, and rest of hotel

We stayed at this hotel for Christmas and New Year, it says in the brochere on a slight hill and not suitable for the less mobile, I am disabled and in a wheelchair but did hire a mobility scooter so I could go to more places. Food was good, staff very friendly, rooms nice and clean, the only thing missing for us was the tea and coffee making facilites and the fridge. We are so happy with the hotel that we are going again in May this year and hopefully Christmas again.
Garden Oasis
by TripAdvisor Member born traveller
We spent a lovely restful week at the Siroco in February. The thing that really stands out was the lovely well kept gardens with labelled plants and trees - such a tranquil haven with its fish ponds and little stream. A white egret flew in every evening around 6.30pm, perched in a palm tree, then raided the ponds - so if the gardener is doing a stock-take, now he'll know where they disappear to!!
The pool area was attractive too but people were still reserving them with towels in February!
Upgraded to a superior room for the queen beds, safe and hairdryer. The room had a view over the gardens and could sit up in bed in the morning and see the sea in the distance!
It is quite up-hill coming back from the beach up the steps and through the underpass, then through the gardens, but the surroundings made it worth it and you can take it slowly.
We encountered our first ever noise problem in a hotel one night but we reported this to reception. We said that we would like to move if it happened again. However the member of staff we spoke to seemed genuinely mortified and assured us tht the people would be spoken to - and sure enough, we never had any more problems.
I think on the whole it is mainly older people who visit in the winter as there were some long-stay guests, but there were some families with nice well behaved children too and we met LOTS of repeat vistiors, which we hope to be ourselves too one day.
Can't fault it
by A TripAdvisor Member
Just returned from a 5 day break. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Food typical spanish costa hotel style, but plentifull and good standard. Rooms clean, towels changed every day. We had to buy a kettle as no tea and coffee in rooms but at such good value not complaining. Excellent value for money.
