Benalmadena Spain
Hi Guys
Does anybody know how far back from the seafront is the station at Benalmadena as I am traveling from Malaga Airport to there and wonder if a taxie would be better right from the Airport

The cercania ( I think thats its name) runs from the airport every half hour along to Fuengerola. However the Benalmadena train station is actually in a place called Arroyo de la miel. This is about a 15 to 20 minute walk down the hill to the coast and that depends on where you are staying. I think a taxi would be your best option - expect to pay around 20 Euros. I know that area quite well so if you need any info let me know.

Thanks very much for your info, I did think about the distance from the station to the Triton Hotel on the seafront, I did stay there a few years ago and did seem to remember just how far back from the hotel the station was, so yes I think I will take the Taxi, this is the first time I have put a holiday together online to this part of the world. I just hope it all works ok hehe. Thanks for your kind offer of help.

Just one last thing. The Triton is just near a bus stop and from there you can get all over. If you really didn't want to get a taxi there is stacks of buses outside the train station at Arroyo but in my opinion that is too much of a chew with suitcases.
