    VT Review Summary

    by

Senses & Colours Bagdad is a hostel located on Fernandez Ruano, just inside the Puerto Almodava gate into the old walled city. Attractions in the vicinity include El Zoco, Casa Andalusi, and Casa de Sefarad. Senses & Colours Bagdad received a 70% satisfaction rating averaged among a limited number of reviews. Reviewers mentioned the hostel was in a great location and was a good value, however others were disappointed in what they described as old, humid, and “musty” smelling rooms, ideal if you want something “cheap and central”. Guests mentioned that the patio is full of flowers and the walls are beautifully decorated in Moorish style. There were a few negative comments such as difficult to access, parking far away, and WiFi Internet and breakfast were only available at a sister hotel in Cordoba. On a positive note, some guests said the staff was friendly and helpful.

    Great accomodation in Cordoba

    by

We stayed there one night in october 2006. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was also very convenient, not far far from the city walls and public parking on one of the main streets. The rooms are not very modern but are quite pleasant. The main advantage is the interior and the patio of the hostal. Patio is full of flowers and the walls are beautifully decorated in Moorish style - really charming. There is a small tea room at the hotel. IMHO the price we paid (38 EUR for double room with bathroom) is a bargain for such a nice experience, especially when we compared it to our stay in Sevilla, when we paid the same price for a calaustrofobic room with no bathroom and NO WINDOW. If I ever come back to Cordoba I'm gonna stay there for sure.
