Ideal Location
We turned up at about 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon in September and asked if they had any double rooms which they did at the reasonable rate of €62 per room including buffet breakfast. I tried my best Spanish (ha!) on the lady on reception but she spoke perfect English which was obviously great for me!
The room was in the back part of the hotel which was brand spanking newly rennovated, and the room had a very large clean bathroom. The bedroom was a little sparse but what more do you need than a bed and somewhere to stash your case?
My only complaint is that the window faced out onto a street which is quite busy and as we were on the ground floor we couldn't have the curtains open very often!
NOV 2005 - we stayed in one of the front facing bedrooms and it was rather noisy in the morning from about 7am until 10am (traffic, schoolkids) unless you had the window and the shutter closed.
Breakfast was simple but tasty - croissants, rolls, jam, meat, cereal, toast, juice and coffee. yum!
Unique Quality: The outside of the hotel is reminsent of the Art Deco style of Miami but it doesn't look out of place in between the other more traditional Spanish buildings.
It's a 2 minute walk to the beach where there's a great beach bar (I can't remember the name of it but will be able to tell you at the end of this month when we go back!) they serve a mean Vodka Limon - one of those and you're tipsy - 2 of them and you'll be wobbling back to the hotel!
