Town hall - Ayuntamiento

If you need to make any official issue you must go to the town hall. It's a nice but simple building, painted in white and yellow. It's located in a small square with a beautiful garden.

Casares
by Helen196
We took a drive up into the hills behind Estepona and came across Casares: a beautiful little village set into the moutainside with spectacular views.
Just outside the village is a huge wind farm which is equally as spectacular.
Day trips
by mvtouring
Doing Day trips is a great recommendation from myself, especially the one called "Discover Andalucia" where they take you to the little villages surrounding the area and you are exposed to the local traditions and food. Only problem is having to get up so early as you can see from the photo, my companions are not very happy people
Estepona

"Estepona Town"
The town in October which may have been out of season was clean and quiet. Plenty of small restaurants. We tried two and both served good local food. There was a good sea front with a long promenade next to a golden beach which would be ideal for beach fans, how busy it gets in high season I don't know.
"The Harbour"
The most interesting feature of Estepona was the working harbour the trawlers were coming in and off loading there catches ready for the auction in late afternoon. Restaurant owners were there to buy there fish if you followed them back you certainly would be sure of fresh fish. The harbour gave an insight into all aspects of a fishermans day sorting the fish cleaning the boat and mending the nets it was a pleasure to watch the day go by.
"Fish"
The selection of fish being landed was amazing, squid, octopus, prawn, skate, plaice, shell fish, crab and much more that I couldn't recognise.
