Accommodation in Frigiliana, Andalucia, Spain
Have been to beautiful Frigiliana before but haven't stayed overnight. This trip I'd like to stay a few nights and have been looking up accommodation which seems nice enough. Trouble is I'd like somewhere that's not "hotelish" but rather somewhere a bit quirky, clean, friendly - basically highly recommended! Unfortunately I see on "Los Caracoles" website, which is slightly outside Frigiliana, that it's closed (if anyone knows otherwise please, please let me know as I'd love to stay there).
So any good recommendations about good B&B's, guesthouses, fun different places, would be greatly welcomed.

Alastair Sawday's "Special Places to Stay -- Spain" lists these places:

This book/website ONLY lists unique places and states "the Spaniards and non-Spaniards) in this remarkable book are all chosen because we like them. They are lovely people." That has been my experience when staying at places Sawday recommends.

Dino - thanks so much for those tips. Will have a look-see when get a chance today (boss is around so wouldn't look too good me browsing for my hols!!).
Weather cold here so am dreaming of warm days walking through the streets of Frigiliana!

You could also give http://www.boutiquespain.com/ a try - not sure if they have anything in Frigiliana itself but there's lots of great smaller hotels in Andalucia to choose from. Paradores may also be worth thinking about for something different which they also have on the site.

Yes, Paradores can be a great authentic experience, though on the pricier side.
