Bus Pass in Fuengirola?

by wencol

Is it possible to buy a weekly bus pass in Fuengirola, for the area please?

Re: Bus Pass in Fuengirola?

Looking at the local City Hall web site gives me the local bus routes and also says that you can buy for €7.20 a BONOBUS which is like a 10 for the price of 8 pass valid for 10 trips. So have a look at the PDF file and if you are using the bus a lot on these local routes then head for the nearest ESTANCO (tobacconist) and get your BONOBUS.

Travel Tips for Fuengirola

When to come to Fuengirola

by diageva

If you want a quiet live, come in winter, Fuengirola is a very quiet place, in the perfect location, perhaps young people find it boring.

At summer, beaches are so crowded. Its better to go the the begining or the end of the scroll (carvajals beaches or castillo beaches)

There are Feria's in Spain and this is one of them

by Waalewiener

In Fuengirola and other Cities in Spain, a statue of the Virgen del Carmen is taken out to sea in a world famous Marine procession on July 16th, for a blessing of the waters, the virgen Carmen is the protector of the seaman/fishermen.
This event should be some thing wonderful to see.

Competa streets

by mvtouring

We also stopped off at Competa during our Discover Andalucia tour. This was the town selected where we would have lunch. As usual a lovely little town in hte middle of nowhere, but with a lot to offer. Look at this funny little streets with the crooked houses

A lovely Restaurant with good Food

by Waalewiener about Casa Lozano

This was a nice little Restaurant where we had Lunch/Dinner ,I would say dinner at lunchtime, the food was good ,the service was good .The only problem was ,Lori & Hans were a bit under the weather.
We put on our bravest faces and ate as much of the food as we could and the food really was fine .
Ps as you can tell in the picture I was not feeling that bad hehe We had a dish of Paella, two Fish dishes and a salad and some drinks. The atmosphere in this restaurant was nice .
The total cost of this meal for the 3 of us was
40 euros ,pretty reasonable.

Plenty to eat and drink

There is also a castle in Fuengirola which is worth seeing. It was built by the Moors in A956 and destroyed in 1485.It was rebuilt in 1730.I liked going here as the views were exellent.Nearby Mijas has loads of great golf courses.Fuengirola has a great selection of bars and restaurants and i walked along the Paseo Maritimo along the beach and looked at all the menus on display.I liked the ice cream parlours and the chinese all you can eat buffets.

I liked it here but it was abit too built up for my liking. Its a good place for families though as it has everything in one place....I will always remember it as it was my first experience of Spain and i did have a good time here.
