Novotel Malaga airport: Airport hotel
Although listed as an airport hotel, it does require a car or taxi to travel the ten minutes from the airport as they do no longer offer hotel shuttle bus facilities,
A modern building and pleasent staff with good size clean rooms
Definatly worth the extra cost compared with the Ibis Hotel which is directly behind the Novotel
It is a useful hotel either for a short 3/4 day visit to the coast or as the last night prior to catching an early flight the next day

Hostal Los Corchos: Nice budget choice
In Spain a "Hostal" is not a hostel, but more like a hotel "light". I guess what they can a Pension/guesthouse in Germany or Italy. When we finally found this place...we were quite satisfied, but the price in July and south of Spain is higher than we expected. But it was nice and clean, comfortable beds, tv, air-con, telephone, bar and we could buy breakfast. Nice staff. 40 meter from the beach. The price in July was 52 euro for a dobble room without breakfast.
No special facilities.

Club la Costa: Club la Costa
Club la Costa on the outskirts of Fuengirola is one of the nicest time share resorts that I have stayed in. They go to extra lenghts to entertain the guests and always make sure that you are treated well and get what you want be it a towel or a direction somewhere

Hostal Valencia: Hostal Valencia
I have not been there. Is a hostal in the principal street, perhaps can have a little noise, and it must be very cheap because is not nice and must be very basic. I will ask for the price. You can have a wonderful breakfast of Churros in bar Santa Ana.

The recently refurbished El Puerto Hotel enjoys a superbly central location and boasts a new key card security system. It offers 300 rooms in two towers, one 8 floors and one 16 floors. All of them are equipped with air conditioning, heating, bathroom, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safe deposit box. Amenities available to guests include coffee bar, restaurant, garden, Sunbathing terrace, lift, disco, medical service, money exchange, swimming pool (on the roof with beautiful views), garage and a car park. The hotel accepts all major credit cards.
The hotel location is indeed great: public beach San Amalia is just a stone throw from the hotel, behind hotel there is a street parallel to the sea front which full of different restaurants and cafes, 200 meters to the left of the hotel there is a famous spot full of discos and bars. What else do you need at resort?? :))
